Propylene trimer is a product of propylene polymerization over phosphoric acide catalyst. Product is used for production of alkylphenols with further processing into ethoxylated alkylphenols, alkylphenol additives, alkylphenolamine resins (Oktofor). Product may also be used as feedstock for oxosynthesis of isodecyl alcohol utilized for PVC plasticizers, for production of nonionic surfactants and lube oil additives.
Propylene tetramer
Propylene tetramer is a product of concentrated propylene oligomerization over phosphoric acide catalyst. Product is used for production of lube additives - sulfurized propylene tetramer and tertiary dodecyl mercaptane.
